Are Biopelle products tested on animals?
No, Biopelle products are not tested on animals and no animals are harmed in the making of Biopelle products. Our Tensage Growth Factor and Tensage Stem Cell lines do utilize snail secretion and snail eggs and therefore are not vegan. These ingredients are sourced in a responsible, non-harmful manner and no snails are injured in the creation of our products.
Can I use Biopelle products while nursing or pregnant?
Several Biopelle products utilize retinol, which is not recommended for use while nursing or pregnant. We recommend if you have any specific questions you consult your doctor.
Are Biopelle products safe for use after skincare procedures?
Our Tensage Intensive Serum 40 is recommended for use to help promote skin healing and optimize procedural results after the skin has re-epithelialized. We recommend you consult your skincare professional for recommendations on use after specific aesthetic procedures.
Is Biopelle suitable for sensitive skin?
It depends on the product! Biopelle products contain potent active ingredients for their efficacy. Anytime you are using a new product for the first time it is recommended that you test a small area on the inside of your arm or underneath your ear to assess your skin’s tolerance.
