I’m using the mild Tensage Daily Serum Growth Factor. I ran out a week and a half ago. Wow, I can see my face going backwards. Just ordered more. As a woman of a certain age, skincare is really, really important to me. I've tried all sorts of serums and lotions to try and get back the skin of my youth (or as close to as possible). So when i received my bottle of Retriderm I was exited and somewhat apprehensive.
I chose the Max because of deep forehead wrinkles and sun damage. Well. I ended up being afraid that I was going to melt my face off with the 1% retinol. But I went and I tried it and it did not melt my face off. I have sensitive skin that has seen retinol before but just not so much. There was no excessive redness or irriation and after three weeks I can see softening in those forehead wrinkles. I can calso see an improvement to my skin texture.
Retinol takes time to really do its thing so I'm going to keep using the Retriderm Max on my skincare journey. I can't wait to see it fade my brand new age spots and sun damage freckles.
I have been really enjoying the retriderm serum max. I like having a retinol in my skincare routine and this does the trick. It is very strong and dries you out so be careful on how much you use and layer it with moisturizer. It has helped with my acne dark spots and scars. The biggest problem for my skin at my almost 40 years old is fine line and since I have oily skin it makes it more hard to get perfect serum that won’t cause breakouts, so I got this Retridem serum max offered by biopsies as complimentary, tried for more than a week, definitely so happy with the results. With 1% retinol gives me softer and smoother skin, absorbs fast, very light and never gives me breakouts. This definitely will be my forever serum.

While this product does seems to help me with my texture and acnes scars I hope people would start out with mild first. The max level is definitely not for beginner, even when I been using acids and retinol for awhile my skin still go through a bit of a purge period. really loved this Retriderm Serum Max it was so easy on my sensitive skin. This comes in a nice attractive pump container. *Gifted by Biopelle*. First thoughts were : I liked the packaging. It’s a nice metal type bottle. Next, I will say I don’t have sensitive skin, but this made my skin drier than the desert! I used moisturizer after the serum and it didn’t make any difference to my dryness, but I did see results so it was worth it. I have a deep neck wrinkle and it helped it within a couple weeks. It’s also been helping clear up my blemishes. Overall I’d definitely purchase this product again in future.

The packaging is very modern looking and appealing ... gives a high-end aesthetic. The lightweight cream is easy to dispense and apply. Looking forward to full results with continued use. Absorbs quickly with no greasy or tacky feel, and no burning or stinging. So far I've seen noticeable smoothing of my skin after using 2x a week for three weeks. Definitely recommend this Max formula for experienced retinol users only ... I am a frequent user and experienced a bit of peeling after a few uses. Nothing terrible and I was able to remedy the issue with a bit of exfoliating scrub. Just a warning. NOT for newbies!

Gifted by. I wanted to start using retinol, and this brand was suggested by one of my favorite Welsh twins. This is the perfect little size to get started and see how your skin reacts. With us being a full one percent I was a little nervous how my skin would react, but so far it’s been great! I have had no peeling, no breakouts, And it’s been gentle. Definitely start with every three days and then every other day once your skin acclimates.
As someone who dabbles in retinol products I was very pleased with this one. I am 29 and use it mainly in a preventative measure and use this about 2-3 times a week. that being said I would probably opt for a lesser strength at this point in my life, but I can definitely tell this is a great, potent serum that is effective! This serum is great if you don't want the prescription strength stuff from your dermatologist, which is too strong for me. I'm not sure why people gave it a bad review because it dried/flaked their skin...that's what retinol does. Start out every other day and cut back if you need to until your skin gets used to it. I’ve never used retinol before. So I applied only a tiny bit of it at night a few times first week. My skin didn’t get any irritation so I increased the amount of use. It seems it’s working on my skin. The skin texture got better, it’s smoother and softer even an improvement with wrinkles.
Biopelle recently gifted me their Retriderm Serum Max to try. I had been using another product at a .75% concentration and it was past time for me to up my dosage, so I went for it and chose the Max for its 1% concentration. I generally use retinol every other night, but I started slowly with this serum at twice a week.
This serum is gentle and creamy going on, and it spreads really easily. I like that it’s fragrance free. I could feel it working with a little tingling, and stayed at the ready to wash it off, but it feels just fine all night. I never experienced any real irritation, so I went up to three times after the first week. I haven’t had issues with redness or excessive peeling.
My skin does seem to be plumper, and the few acne flares I get have definitely lessened, but what impresses me most is that my stubborn cystic acne is finally improving. I don’t deal as much with surface acne, but my cystic pimples have been a struggle to get rid of. In just a few weeks, only the two largest ones are still there, but the rest are gone. Only one is large enough to see, and both are now as small as the smallest ones I had.
I love this serum, and I’m tempted to go back up to four times a week, but I don’t want to overdo it and ruin the progress I’ve made. I will most definitely keep Retriderm Max in my routine, and possibly try a lower intensity once my skin is sufficiently under control, but Biopelle has my new favorite formula, hands down.
