Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if I have Estrogen Deficient Skin?
Estrogen Deficient Skin results in noticeable dryness, dullness, sagging, thinning, fine lines and/or wrinkling of facial skin. It typically becomes apparent in peri-menopause and menopause, when estrogen levels in the body begin to decline. If you feel like your moisturizer is no longer working or like your skin has lost its luminosity or youthful “glow”, you may be experiencing Estrogen Deficient Skin.
Is Emepelle Serum suitable for all skin types?
Emepelle Serum is designed for all skin types, including normal, dry, oily, and combination. Those with sensitive skin may experience mild tingling without irritation. However, if redness or irritation occurs, it’s best to stop use at least temporarily and reassess. Additionally, since Emepelle Serum is not non-comedogenic, it may not be ideal for acne-prone skin.
What will Emepelle Serum do to my skin?
Emepelle Serum helps improve skin’s health and appearance, including hydration and the appearance of firmness and luminosity. In a clinical study, after 14 weeks of application of MEP Technology, 54% of users saw more hydrated skin, 39% saw an increase in luminosity and 19% saw an improvement in laxity.
Will I experience any irritation when using Emepelle Serum?
It is normal to experience mild tingling unaccompanied by irritation with the use of Emepelle Serum. If irritation or redness develops, discontinue use, at least temporarily.
When will I start seeing results?
In clinical studies, Emepelle Serum made a marked improvement in users’ skin after only eight weeks of use, though the timeframe of results may vary.
How long does one container of Emepelle Serum last?
One container of Emepelle Serum will last approximately 4-5 months when applied once daily to the face. If used twice daily on the face, on the face one container will last approximately 2-3 months. If you are applying to the face and neck, your container may not last as long.
Does Emepelle Serum contain hormones?
No. Emepelle Serum is a non-hormonal skincare solution aimed at improving the effects of estrogen loss and skin aging. It does not contain estrogen and has benefits exclusively to the skin.
Can I use Emepelle if I have a history of cancer or other medical condition that requires precaution for hormone therapy?
Emepelle Serum is non-hormonal. MEP Technology has been clinically proven to be safe though it has not been tested on individuals with specific medical conditions. Please consult your doctor with any questions.

After 50, my skin really started getting really dehydrated and irritated. This serum saved my skin. I’ve tried so many products and this seemed to renew the composition of my skin and targeted the itchiness that I was experiencing.

I am 46 years old and have been using the Emepelle serum, night cream, and eye cream for about 6 weeks, and although it is too soon to see dramatic results, I do believe in MEP technology. Despite this, I am unsure if I will repurchase the products for several reasons. Prior to using Emepelle products, I was using prescription tretinoin as well as several other products including a copper peptide serum. The Emepelle night cream contains retinol which means I cannot use my prescription tretinoin with it which is not good. The alternative is to use the Emepelle serum with my tretinoin at night instead of the night cream but it’s my understanding the serum only contains 1 percent MEP, while the night cream contains 2 percent, so this option is also not ideal. Also, the serum contains ingredients such as absorbic acid which is not good to use under tretinoin at night, so the serum is not an option at night. Absorbic acid also cannot be used with copper peptides, so I have had to discontinue the use of my copper peptide serum in the morning in order to use the Emepelle serum. As mentioned, I also use other serums and essences under the night cream so I can’t help but wonder how well the product is getting in my skin or if it is being diluted due to it being the last step of my skincare routine over essences and serums. I believe what is missing from the Emepelle line is a very lightweight serum that has full strength MEP and is void of other actives such as retinol that can be applied as a first step in a skincare routine AM or PM to ensure the product is getting in the skin. The serum should be able to be used with tretinoin and other popular ingredients such as copper peptides. One should not have to discontinue the use of other skincare products to use Emepelle and should feel confident the product is not being diluted and is actually getting in the skin, especially at this price point. While I do believe in MEP technology and the Emepelle line, I do believe in other products and ingredients as well, but unfortunately it is impossible to have a multistep skincare routine that includes powerhouse ingredients such as prescription tretinoin and use Emepelle products. I have discussed Emepelle products with friends, and while they are interested in trying the products, none are willing to give up their skincare routines which are similar to mine. Hopefully the Emepelle line will offer a new product that can be incorporated into every skincare routine so women don’t have to choose between Emepelle and other products and ingredients that they enjoy using and work for them. I also believe the price of these products deters many women from using them and am confident that if the prices were a bit lower more women would try them.

I would caution those of you with sensitive skin to check the ingredients in this serum for chemicals that might be irritants for your specific skin type. I want to like this serum and have given it multiple “chances” and each time I use it I wake up with redness in specific areas of my face and neck. Quite odd that it targets specific areas and irritates them, but that has been my experience, along with a noticeable stinging when I apply the serum. If you notice a stinging sensation upon application, you might be sensitive to this as well.

Absolutely the best serum , tried many and also more expensive but I am glad I was introduced to Emepelle serum.

Yes! Only been using 4 weeks but skin has more bounce. My only gripe is the price point but actually if I cleared out everything else from my bathroom shelf it would probably be cheaper. Packaging is nice and simple, no weird dispensers. Haven’t got to the end yet so do t know what the last drops look like. I will repurchase.

I, too, am a skincare junkie. I have loved using this serum and I use the night cream every other night (because of cost). I ordered a second bottle of the serum during a sale. I have had people ask me what I’m doing to my skin and why I don’t look my age. I will be 70 in July and have been complimented several times by women friends. One of my Facebook friends messaged me to ask who my Dermatologist was and I told her ME!
