Biopelle gifted me the Retriderm Serum Plus with .75% retinol. It is very potent. I am 46 years old and I have used retinol products regularly already to fight signs of aging, so I thought I would try using it morning and night. After 3 days, my skin began to sting when I applied it and by the 4th day it began to peel and flake. I have sensitive skin at times, but usually I tolerate retinol well. Since this is formulated to reduce irritation, I realized I was using it too often. I let my skin rest for 3 days and then I returned to applying it at night only and that did the trick. No stinging, no irritation and no peeling. I just pump it onto my fingertip, dot it all over my face, and blend it in. Then I layer moisturizer on top once it has time to absorb. I now know for a fact that Biopelle is using good active ingredients and the formula really does reduce irritation if you don’t use it too frequently. My skin now feels very soft and smooth, with less texture. I also have less blackheads and breakouts.

I’ve used retinol products before and the Retriderm Serum is one of the better ones for sure! I wanted to test it for a few weeks to really see if there are results and I’m definitely seeing a difference in my skin. The fine lines I had on the outer optical area are definitely fading, and my more prominent lines are looking much softer. My post acne marks are also looking a lot less noticeable. I also love the versatility of use with the serum although I’ve just been using it in the evenings.
