I’m in my 40’s and always seeking skincare that can delay the signs of aging and improve the overall condition of my skin. Needless to say l was excited to try this out.
This Facial Serum containing 0.75% Retinol, best suited for individuals who have used Retinol products previously.
Using as part of my evening skincare routine, on freshly cleansed and dry skin. It has a very thin consistency, glides over the skin nicely and absorbs fast. I found applying 2 pumps was the right amount for me. It is recommended to wait a little while (3-5 mins) before applying any other products. But that’s ok as l have more time in an evening for my skincare routine.
I like its an oil free formulation, worked well on my combination skin type. So far I’ve been really pleased with it, I haven’t experienced any form of skin irritation. My skin is left feeling plumper, soft and a little firmer. I think it’s also starting to look a little radiant too. With continued use intended to improve skin elasticity and appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Obviously you need to sunscreen (SPF30 or highly) the following day, as it contains retinol.
It’s highly likely l will purchase again! This serum is available in two more levels of Retinol levels, so pick which best suits your needs.
– The mild level of Retriderm is a .5% if you are new to retinol
– Max level is a 1% retinol for those with concerns of advanced sun damage or skin aging or have a high tolerance for retinoids
